Connect 24 is a free service available to all members of Preferred Federal Credit Union.  Connect 24 allows our members to access their accounts 24 hours a day.  7 days a week from any touch-tone phone.  All you need is your account number, your personal identification number (PIN) and a touch-tone phone.  With access to Connect 24, the Credit Union is always open!

TO ACCESS CONNECT 24,  YOU NEED:

YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER
Your account number is listed on your statement and member identification card.

YOUR 4-DIGIT PIN
Your PIN has already been assigned to you.  If you wish to change your PIN, you can do so by calling or coming in to the Credit Union.

A TOUCH TONE PHONE
Not all push button phones are touch-tone.  If your telephone has a rotary dial, or makes clicking sounds, it is not a touch-tone phone, and it will not communicate with Connect 24.

USING CONNECT 24

1.  Dial (616) 754-3722
2.  Enter your account number followed by the "#" key.
3.  Enter your PIN followed by the "#" key.
4..  Enter a function code (listed below) followed by the "#" key.
5.  To end your session, simply hang up or enter 99#.

HELPFUL HINTS

THE "#" KEY
Remember to conclude each entry with the "#" (pound key) to prompt Connect 24 to proceed.

THE "*" KEY
Use the "*" (asterisk key) to pause speech during all inquiries and prompts.  This feature allows you to write down information.

THE "**" KEYS
Push "**" (2 asterisks) if you make a mistake and would like to erase your entry.

ENTER THE EXACT AMOUNT
Example:  $25.00 = 2500#
               $125.50 = 12550#
Connect 24 will verify the amount with you prior to completing the transaction.  If you wish to correct your entry, use "**" to erase.

SAVINGS ACCOUNT

Enter function number 72 (SB) and the # key, then enter suffix 21 and the # key.

CHECKING ACCOUNT
BALANCE INQUIRY
Enter function number 72 (SB) and the # key, then enter suffix 92 and the # key.

TRANSFERRING $275.00
FROM SAVINGS TO CHECKING

1.  Enter function 78 (ST) and the # key.
2.  Enter number 21 (suffix A) and the # key.
3.  Enter number 92 (suffix X) and the # key.
4.  Enter amount, 27500, and the # key.
5.  Wait for Connect 24 to confirm your transfer.

CONNECT 24 FUNCTIONS

*Share withdrawals (checks) may be sent to a payment address or picked up at the Preferred Federal Credit Union office in Greenville.

DEPOSIT &  LOAN SUFFIXES

CONNECT 24 REMINDER CARD Always use a touch-tone phone to access Connect 24.

1.  Call Connect 24 at (616) 754-3722.
2.  Enter your Preferred Federal Credit Union account number.
3.  Enter your PIN.
4.  Enter your transaction code.

For security reasons, never reveal your PIN to anyone.  Do not write your PIN on this card.
