 Paperwork has a way of piling up.  And that's not good for the environment - or for you!  But with e-Statements from Preferred Federal Credit Union, you can simplify your life and help save some trees.

What are e-Statements? e-Statements are simply electronic versions of your regular statement.  Rather than receiving a paper copy in the mail, you'll log into your Preferred Online Access and view your statement online. 

Sounds easy.  Is it secure?  Yes.  You will view your eStatement through our safe, secure Online Access log in...and you eliminate the risk of someone stealing your statement from your mailbox. 

Is there a charge for this service?  No.  eStatements are completely FREE!

What if I change my mind?  No problem, You can switch back to paper statements anytime. 

Great!  How do I sign up?  Just visit www.preferredfcu.com and log into your Preferred Online Access Account .  Click on Services.  Then Click on Statement Options and choose eStatements.  It;s that easy!  Sign up today and you can start receiving your statements online begining with the next statement!   



 Frequently Asked Questions about e-Statements

  •  Will my Statement show up on my e-mail?
    No.  You have to log into your Preferred Online Access account to view your statement.
  •  Are e-Statements secured?
    Yes.  You will get an e-mail notifying you that your statement is ready to be viewed.  You then log into your Preferred Online Access account and click on Statements to view. 
  •  Can I print or save my statements?
    It is advisable to keep your statements on a back-up device.  You can print your statement giving you a hard copy to keep in your file and/or save your statement to a disk.  The Credit Union will always be able to get a statement for you. 
  •  What if my computer crashes?
    Contact the Credit Union immediatly.  The Credit Union is able to send future statements until your computer is back up and running.  It is advisable to keep your statements on a back-up device for situations such as this. 
  •  When will I receive notification?
    You will get an e-mail notification as soon as the updates are posted.  Generally it is within the first few days of the month, which is much faster than waiting for the printer and the US Postal Service. 
  •  What if my e-mail address changes?
    Log into your Preferred Online Access Account and click on Services.  Go to Change e-Statement Options.  You can change your e-mail here. 
  •  What if I change my mind and do not want to have e-Statements?
    Simply log into your Preferred Online Access account and click on Services.  Go to Change e-Statement Options where you will choose to Mail a paper statement.  The Credit Union knows you will enjoy the ease and security of e-Statements plus, you're helping the Credit Union cut costs on postage which is a savings passed along to you!
